I know I react like that when I read. Blake Snyder's Save the Cat! made lightbulbs pop all over the place for me, but I just can't get into Robert McKee, for instance, although I know many writers think he's brilliant.Jessica Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08665523780886208301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1513769632913968502.post-15807238640409163992011-02-07T21:43:37.178-08:002011-02-07T21:43:37.178-08:00That was insightful and interesting. I'm just in the process of starting a new story and revising an older one and all those prompts about why the Hero and Heroine are so right for each other but why they CAN'T be together are just perfect. I'm now asking myself if my stories fit this structure and making sure the conflict is 10% external and 90% internal etc. Wonderful, wonderful advice. Thank you so much Jessica!Elissa Grahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11415274389691816585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1513769632913968502.post-7994451127346002342011-02-07T04:32:24.344-08:002011-02-07T04:32:24.344-08:00Ah, yes, the old 'snowed in at Christmas' ...Ah, yes, the old 'snowed in at Christmas' situation ...
